Mahjong games and lessons in Seattle

Seattle lists 15 games and 2 beginner classes across Riichi, American Mah Jongg, and community drop-in formats. Two Riichi sessions meet weekly (Sunday on Capitol Hill, Tuesday in Bellevue). Five American Mah Jongg games run at the Stroum JCC on Mercer Island, The Missing Piece in West Seattle, Hillel UW, and The Center for Active Living. One Taiwanese table operates in SeaTac.

Seven community sessions meet at one Seattle Parks center (Van Asselt), the Chinatown-International District Community Center, SouthEast Seattle Senior Center, Kin On, Emerald City Tile Club, Mahjong Mondays at Kilig, and QT Mahjong Club. Beginner lessons are offered at the Stroum JCC on Mercer Island and by Flip4MahJongg for private or small-group instruction.
