Mahjong games and lessons in Phoenix
Phoenix lists 13 drop-in games and 4 beginner lesson programs. Seven American Mah Jongg sessions meet at Phoenix Mahjong Club in Scottsdale (Tuesday through Sunday member play), Desert Foothills Library in Cave Creek, Mahj Mind at Desert Broom Library, Via Linda and Granite Reef senior centers in Scottsdale, Phoenix Public Library's Agave branch, and a Thursday afternoon meetup.
One Riichi game runs Wednesday evenings at Arizona State University in Tempe. Five community sessions (Other) meet at Fate Brewing, Bookmans Phoenix, Chandler Public Library, a private home in Chandler, and Granite Reef's Friday International table. Lessons operate at Phoenix Mahjong Club, Desert Foothills Library, Via Linda Senior Center, and Holland Center with Mahj Mind.
